Applications Open for 2024 Graduate Fellowship in Fire Safety Research
The Department of Fire Protection Engineering’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program with the Underwriters Laboratory Fire Safety Research Institute Fellowship (FSRI) has one opening and welcomes applications until February 15, 2024.
The fellowship will involve on-site research activities supervised by FSRI in its offices in Columbia, MD.

Upon acceptance, the selected student will be assigned a faculty advisor who will monitor performance and adherence of good academic standing. Additional information can be found in the Graduate Catalog’s Policies for Graduate Assistantships.

The selected student will also report to an on-site supervisor at the FSRI, who will be periodically contacted by the faculty advisor to confirm satisfactory performance.
