Fire Protection Engineering is a unique major offered in the Clark School of Engineering for students interested in a public-safety-oriented engineering career. With 100% job placement, 50% of FPE students on department/industry scholarships, and an average career salary of $119,000, this is a major you want to check out! In this one-hour tour, you will visit UMD's labs and walk through the department with current fire protection engineering students.
