Overview
ASTM E648 is a test standard designed to identify the critical heat flux of mounted floor covering systems. The test material is mounted to a concrete floor and exposed to a flaming ignition source to simulate thermal radiation levels that the material may be exposed to due to fire and/or smoke radiation.
