2007 Frank J. Fee Scholarship recipients

A $5,000 scholarship awarded to students enrolled in fire protection engineering based on the student's academic record, fire protection interest, and academic potential.

2007 recipient Andrew Wolfe is a senior Fire Protection Engineering student at the University of Maryland . He chose to major in Fire Protection Engineering due to his strong involvement with his hometown volunteer fire department. He is a member of the Salamander Fire Protection Engineering Society and a student member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Andrew is currently interning at Hughes Associates in Baltimore, MD, and plans to pursue a Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering once he graduates.

2007 recipient Christine Sauer is a senior Fire Protection Engineering student at the University of Maryland. Christine selected Fire Protection Engineering because she wanted the skills she learned to one day have an impact on society, to help protect and ensure the safety of people around the world. Christine is a student member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. She is currently an intern at Schirmer Engineering, gaining invaluable real world experience. Christine plans to graduate and pursue a career in Fire Protection Engineering, and soon thereafter, earn her professional engineering accreditation.
