Title: Finding a Job: Advice from Beyond the Gauntlet

Abstract: Everyone in grad school recognizes the need to find a job, but we spend remarkably little time talking about it. In this talk, I'll share a few key insights from my personal experience pursuing and receiving national lab and industry offers over the last year, along with some generally applicable tips. I'll also suggest career resources that are available on campus and online that can make a big difference in the job search.
